We had planned on visiting Cologne and Monschau on Saturday, but since we fit in Cologne on Friday we had a nice relaxing tourist day in Monschau. Because of its secluded geographical location it was preserved from the destruction of the two world wars. It was a really neat little town.
You can see Monschau Castle in the mid right of the picture. It isn't very big, but we walked through it. Today it is used as a youth hostel.
