Random September

I don't get as many pictures of Mike and Audrey napping, but he still takes them when he can get them.

Audrey loves to baby things she finds, and doesn't discriminate because of species. She made sure to since to this zucchini to make it fall asleep.

Jamie and I tried out the new OYO half marathon course. I prefer large crowds of people, but Covid has made that a little hard.

Audrey was very helpful at the pumpkin patch.

Sarah, Tatiana, Selah and Michael decided to dress up fancy to go shopping. Yes, shopping. They looked great and had a lot of fun getting fancy.

Millions of peaches..

Want to know the secret to having a pantry full of canned peaches? Lots and lots of work. ;) We've loved having a peach tree that produces a ton, but I'm going to admit, if I had a magical button to bypass it, I would. We enlisted the help of neighbor kids and it made the work go a bit faster. We all seemed to wilt at the end and gave away a couple boxes to neighbors. I just realized I didn't take a picture of the finished product, but we got a ton!

If you give a baby a hose

Most kids love water. Audrey is no exception. What she really loves is squirting people with hoses. The few times she's gotten one you have to plan on getting soaked to get it back. In the first picture she had clothes on, but they got wet, so we took them on and she kept going.

Mike was trying to clean the tent and Audrey wanted to "help". It was so funny I started to film and ended up getting really wet as well.

Payson Lake with the Pews

I've uploaded these pictures twice and it keeps uploading them backwards. Just start at the bottom of the post and work your way up. ;) On our way home we stopped at the Payson temple. It's a beautiful one. We had a great time, especially since we had the Pews to hang out with. Amelia and Roland joined us and the boys slept outside in a tent since that would have made for a packed trailer.

Word on the streets is Sarah climbed this tree until about half way.

The hammocks were everyone's favorite lounging spot.

Audrey tried out the midget tub. Perfect fit!

The water was gross! We haven't been here this late in the year and I guess a lot of it had to be used for farm irrigation. It meant what remained was green and gross. The kids didn't mind, but we did, Bleh!

We went to a different lake nearby in hopes of cleaner water. We found it, kind of, along with a cool rope swing and platform.

The kids spent the weekend chopping wood and making a fort. Their favorite thing to do.

Audrey learned to say watermelon, but refused to say it once we started recording. Still adorable.
