Random April

Covid has made me a little lame, but the kids still wanted to play some April fool's pranks. Steven decided to pretend he slammed his head against the rocks at the Holt's house. They didn't fall for it despite his amazing acting. ;)

Steven and Adam have been trying to get into the Lego catalog for years, and half the time I've forgotten to submit their submissions. (Sorry boys) This is one of their newest creations that I would think would be a shoe in, but I never know what Lego uses to determine who they showcase.

Why am I posting a random picture of myself in mid-April? Well, this was the first time I'd really gotten ready and actually worn jeans in...well...a while. :)

The boys wanted to take pictures of Audrey with bitter lemon face, but instead they introduced her to fruits she considers delicious.

I am preserving this amazing picture for posterity. I am forever grateful to have a husband that does the dishes. He's the best!

Audrey has started allowing us the great opportunity to kiss her many booboos.

Going on runs with me is very exhausting for a baby.

Audrey has learned where the popsicles are and loves to follow us around saying, "Pease!" (yes, the l was left out on purpose. It's adorable.)

Steven and Audrey joined me for workouts for a couple months. Steven did great but Audrey mostly sad on our heads and backs any time we were in plank.

Audrey loves to sit on my lap while I sew. It makes it a little harder, but she thinks it's fun to play with the needles. The floor around my sewing area is hazardous and shoes are highly recommended.

Porch Family Pictures

Since people were stuck at home for a while, having family pictures taken on the porch became popular. Our neighbor Monica Madsen offered to do ours. It was fun having some extra memories during this crazy time.

My little Enos

I saw Adam out on the trampoline and it looked like he was praying and meditating. My mom heart swelled as I thought he was like Enos of old praying all day. ;) When he came in I asked him about it and he laughed. He just happened to look like he was praying, but wasn't.

Audrey is 18 months!

I wish it were closer to April 27th when I took these and not August 2nd, so I could include all of the funny things she's been doing. I'm now going to make an August post to mention all her goofy antics, because they are many and cute.

We borrowed the Lambourne's cat bed again for her pictures. She is a busy baby and the only way we could get her to stay still-ish was to give her toys to play with. We decided to put her in some of the dresses she hadn't worn that she was about to grow out of.

She tried to escape so we had to bring out the secret weapon...books. She is her sister's little sister for sure.

Memory Grove

We hadn't visited Memory Grove in a while, so we went in the morning before Audrey's nap. It's always a nice place to visit and is very peaceful. A decent amount of people had the same idea, but it wasn't too crowded. We didn't dress for pictures, but we still got some good ones worthy of family pics if all of us had been in them.

Audrey was pretty tired, so she grabbed Mike's tablet and sat down on the couch expecting us to put on a show for her. Yes, she knows the power she wields.
