Random October

 Audrey goes on runs with me, and it's never a dull moment with her. Now that she's getting older, she's less excited to sit how she's supposed to. 

Audrey and I brought Rasputin outside so I made sure to get some cute pics of the rodent. 

Audrey asked Mike to have a sleepover on the trampoline, and like the softy he is, he said yes. It was Audrey's first ever. 

Audrey asked Mike for a jetpack and he came through with a very realistic design. ;)

Happy Birthday Kevin! We went with the Starleys to visit Kevin's grave for his birthday. We thought it would be fun to leave a skeleton. Everyone got a kick out of it and when Andy went back a week later there were more like it. Andy went back and added a balloon and Lynette added pumpkins. 

Hike to Dog Lake with Emily. It rained/snowed on us and we were freezing, but it was good to get out and spend some time together. 

Happy Halloween

 Audrey loves inflatables, and was happy when it was time to bring her bed buddies back. Mr Pumpkin Face is her favorite, but she likes them all. 

Audrey got to go to the pumpkin patch with her preschool. There was a scavenger hunt and then Miss Angie read them all a book. I found out Audrey has a BFF named Lottie, so we found her and some other friends to invite to her birthday party. 

We went to the ward's Halloween party and Audrey loved chasing friends and doing the trunk or treat. The boys brought friends so they weren't bored. I'm glad the party was scheduled before Mike left so he could participate. 

On Halloween morning Sarah and Steven went to school early to take part in the costume contest. They didn't win, but they were the best equipped fighter pilots there! Adam had wanted to be a pilot, but settled for "Army dude" since we didn't have any more flight suits. After school, Audrey and I joined the HS kids in the drive through trunk or treat. Sarah changed from a pilot to Spider Gwen for STUCO. We went Trick or Treating with some friends and Audrey got plenty of candy. The big kids hung out with friends at home. 

Audrey's preschool had a Halloween Party and I was able to volunteer. They sang a couple of cute songs for the parents after making crafts and eating junk. 

Fall Break in Estes Park

 Our fall break started later this year, so Mike wasn't able to join us. Eliza and Bridger came along, which helped the kids enjoy it even more. It was chilly outside, so there was more TV watching than usual. Since it was Audrey's birthday, we had family over and had a mini party. She liked having an extra party. 

Beck and my parents came up for the day, so we walked around Bear Lake. It reminds me a lot of Silver Lake up BCC. 

School Pictures

 Another year of school, another year of school pictures. Sarah and Steven were bummed that their school seemed to use a bronze feature that made them look tan and their teeth not as white. Big news is that Audrey started preschool, so she got to be included. Adam had his folded in his backpack for three months before he finally gave them to me. Kids!

Happy Birthday Baby Princess!

 Since Mike would miss Audrey's birthday, we decided to celebrate early. Audrey decided she wanted a dinosaur theme, which wasn't a surprise. Ever since we went to see the animatronic dynos at Thanksgiving Point, and my parents had bought her a stuffed T Rex, she's been obsessed. (Her dyno's name is Gray Dancer, or Grave Dancer. It changes.) I was going to make a fancy cake, and then decided to simplify, so I let Audrey help so the blame/credit would go to her. :)

The party started with excavating eggs. There were little dynos inside. We then played pin the tail on the dyno and it was slightly obvious which kids could see behind the blindfold. We then did ice cream, presents, and the piñata. It was a fun party and Audrey loved having her friends there. 

Audrey is still her sibling's favorite. It's been a lot of fun to see her personality evolve. She's so funny! She's in a fun phase of life where she can still play obvious tricks on us, that are transparent, but that she is very proud of. Her mannerisms are hilarious. He scowls and eye rolls are adorable. We are so thankful to have her as part of our family. Happy Birthday Princesa numero Dos!
