Random March

Since Easter Sunday was also General Conference, the kids wore their Easter outfits from Lynette the week before. Yeah, they're cute. :)

We went on a hike with the kids in the hills behind our house.

Adam's class went on a field trip to the Clark Planetarium and I got to tag along again. I'm going to miss when I don't get to go to his field trips anymore.

Professor Adam

Adam's teacher had noticed him squinting at the white board so she had his eyes tested at school and he failed the test. They told us to have them checked professionally, and when we took him in we found out he is near sighted and has terrible eyes. Oops! I had no idea. We took him in and he picked out some cute Oakley's. They seemed to bother him at first, but now he's good about wearing them everywhere.

Isgett's!

The Isgett's came for spring break, so we got to spend a day skiing with them. My pregnant brain didn't get enough pictures, but it was great to see them.

Mike's day job

One a recent refueling mission one of the F-15 pilots they were refueling took these pictures. Mike was the one flying the tanker, so it was neat to see these. I showed them to my students and they were quite impressed. It makes me grateful he's able to get paid to do something he loves so much.

Slushy skating

We heard the Herriman Ice Ribbon was closing for the season, so we decided to go one last time. It was fairly obvious why they were closing it, the ice was melting. :) The kids fell a few times from hitting soft patches, but we still had fun. Afterwards we went to the park next door and played. I love spring! (Ignore the scowl on Sarah's face, she had fun, she just had to concentrate really hard.) ;)

Puzzles are so much "fun"!

My parents came to visit and I thought it would be nice to put a puzzle together. I'd had a 1000 piece puzzle I hadn't opened, so we decided to give it a try. What we found after starting is that the picture on the box is not only missing a bunch of the pieces, but it was also in the wrong order. It made putting it together more challenging. We finished it right before my parents left, as in morning of.

Having my parents over means the boys can wake up early and hang out with my dad. (or play electronics) They had fun building a "book bridge" and card castles. Best part is that I didn't have to help with the cleanup. :)
