Random August

Sarah and Angelina are only nine days apart and always like spending time together.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We are all so incredibly lucky to have Mike in our lives. He works so hard for all of us and is an amazing father, husband and friend. He was tired, but still came outside to hang out.

Our friends are the librarians in our church congregation. There is a keyboard in the library, so Mike has told them that any time they need a substitute they need to ask us first.

Adam decorating Audrey. Why not, right?

Audrey is 10 months old!

I am shockingly enough less than a week late on posting about Audrey turning 10 months. (It's almost her birthday and I haven't posted this, so I guess I'm not completely on the ball) ;) It's crazy to think that she's only two months away from being one. I saw a newborn yesterday and it looked so tiny. Time really does fly. Hold your babies. Spend the time. Slow down, because life goes by fast on its own.

Audrey has gotten so big all of a sudden. She still has 8 teeth, but one more looks like it wants to pop through on the bottom. She is a stair master, and if you turn your back on her, she's gone. She can stand up and walk around holding onto things and if she lets go, she can stand for a couple seconds, but she still likes to hold onto stuff.

Audrey hasn't yet gained an appreciation for Mother Nature

She is always very "helpful" in the kitchen

Since Audrey didn't want to sit still, I decided to take her 10 month pics in the swing. After snapping a few I realized I could put the sticker on the swing and take a couple dozen more. I love all of her little looks, especially the scrunched nose ones. :)

This one is her "crazy baby" look. Love it!

Audrey is still the most loved baby around. None of her siblings are sick of her, which is a huge blessing. She laughs, smiles, and gives lots of happy pelvic thrusts when she's excited. Grateful she's ours.

Happy 63rd Birthday Grandpa Bonk!

When my dad turned 60 I started a tradition with him of running a 5k on his birthday. There aren't usually races near his birthday, so we usually do a "virtual race". This year there happened to be a great race called, "Warriors for Warriors" that benefited Team RWB, an organization that helps veterans stay active and connect with others. All of the kids secretly decided to run it as well, and even my mom joined in the fun.

We all kind of started together, but Adam quickly took off, Steven and Mike pulled ahead, and the girls "sacrificed" their PR's to stay with Grandma. (a huge sacrifice for them)

Here are the ones the race took. A little better than my iphone. ;)
