Random December

Mike and the boys took advantage of a snow storm to play outside. I've felt like a bit of a dud since Audrey was born since I can't ditch her to play outside as much as I'd like.

Leaving the house with Audrey can be a bit of a challenge. I try and leave after I feed her, but if it isn't timed perfectly I have to feed her while out. I've not super comfortable nursing in public so often times I just feed her in the car. We went to visit Mike and he told me he'd heard there was a new nursing room. It's not a room, it's a pod, and it's really cool. Much better than the car. ;)

The boys were nice enough to join me on a run. Unfortunately Strava didn't record the run so they weren't able to see all the zig zagging we did. (And I didn't get credit for the two miles) ;)

Sarah's "Mini Me"

We dressed Audrey in one of Sarah's old dresses. We tried to recreate the picture, since Audrey looks a lot like Sarah, but oddly enough she didn't want to cooperate. Go figure! ;) It's sweet that Audrey has the same red spot over her eye that Sarah had when she was little. They were definitely meant to be sisters.

Sarah and Audrey got matching dresses for Christmas although Audrey's is 6-12 mo. Sarah insisted they match today, so Audrey just had on a full length ballgown. :)

Little miss money

Sarah started doing "Mommy and Me" babysitting when she was 9. She started babysitting for us at 10 and other people at 11. She looked forward to turning 13 and opening her own checking account so people wouldn't have to write checks that I deposit or venmo me. She set up her own account and quickly set up her own Venmo. We make our kids put half of what they earn into savings, so she has way more than I ever had as a kid. (or even young adult after bills were paid) I'm glad she's smarter than I ever was at her age. ;)

Audrey is TWO months old!

These past two months have seriously flown by. Audrey now smiles, laughs and "talks" to us, especially me. She still continues to eat, sleep and poop a lot, but has more time in between each one. I wondered if the newness would wear off for the kids, but it hasn't yet. They're all still as obsessed and in love as ever. It's really nice, because I don't have to beg them for help. If she needs to be held, they all jump at the chance.

At her 2 month check up on the 27th she was 22.5 inches long (55%), 9 lbs 11 oz (24%) and head circumference of 15.6 c (70%)

Ever since I bought this outfit Sarah has been chomping at the bit to put it on her. It's still big, but I'm sure she'll wear it numerous times before she outgrows it.

She and Mike continue to be each other's favorite snuggle buddies.

This is the only picture I took of her on the 26th. I wasn't on my game. ;)

Mele Kalikimaka!

Merry Christmas! I love this time of year. I know I say that every year, but I really do. I love the snow, giving, love, family and just about everything that comes with it.

A week before Christmas we visited Erik and brought he and Lily poinsettias. We didn't stay long enough to see the tree light up, but we always love to visit him.

Christmas Sunday was on the 23rd this year.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas morning we have a rule that the kids can wake up and open their stockings, but they have to leave us alone until we wake up. This was especially useful this year seeing as how tired we were.

Here is this years Christmas card.

Merry CHRISTmas everyone!
