The Tooth Fairy came!

Last Wednesday we had a surprised visitor come and visit us during the night. The Tooth Fairy! While putting Sarah to bed I felt her loose tooth which has been ready to come out for at least a week. I could see under her tooth, so she agreed it was finally time to get it out. She decided she'd like to try the string method she's heard so much about.

I laid her on the ground and tied a string around the tooth. I couldn't bring myself to yank on it, so Mike tried. It came right off, but no tooth. We tried that a couple times before Mike had her sit up.


He pulled one time and it was out. Sarah didn't even realize it had come out because it was so fast and painless. Great job Dad!



She put her tooth under her pillow and the Tooth Fairy came and left her $2. She didn't mind that the Tooth Fairy gives her friend $5, which is good, because that could get expensive. :-) She has another loose tooth, so the Tooth Fairy should be visiting again soon. We are all very excited.
