Hike to Timpanogos Falls

We wanted to go on a waterfall hike with the kids, so we decided to hike to the first two waterfalls on the Timpanogos trail. We didn't know until we started that there had been a huge avalanche that had destroyed a lot of the trees and still blocked much of the trail. It was cool to see, and we were surprised at how much snow there was for it being July. The big kids did great and enjoyed the hike, which is rare. (but getting less rare)

We came to a part in the trail where a tree had fallen and obstructed the patch. The kids all went under and although Mike COULD have gone around, he chose to follow the kids. I took lots of pictures.

Mike and the boys continued their hike to the waterfall and took pictures from the top looking down. Sarah and I were content to protect Audrey. (Rabid chipmunks and such)

We took the kids to Pizza pie cafe on the way home and we all gorged ourselves.
