A few months ago Adam started taking lessons from Ashley Orgill, and it's been a good fit for him. For her recitals she has the kids play a solo and a duet. Adam was fine with the solo, but did not want to play a duet. With some"gentle" coaxing he agreed, and it went really well. He played with his friend James. Adam had all his music memorized, so he didn't bring his music. (cough, cough, I also forgot to remind him to bring it) He forgot part of the last line of his song and I was worried he was going to get frustrated. Instead, he just skipped the part and finished strong. During his duet he forgot a little spot, but his partner helped point him in the right direction. He did a great job and has progressed a lot.
