While Mike was in UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) we got to meet some wonderful people. One of them was Adam Furhman. We were both ecstatic to find out that he'd been chosen as an astronaut candidate by NASA. This has always been his end game and I remember him talking about it. He got an engineering degree from MIT and then became an airforce pilot. He got the F22 out of pilot training and then became a test pilot. So cool!
