Adam's baptism

Last Saturday Adam made the choice to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We were very proud of his decision and grateful his dad was able to baptize him. There were two other boys that were baptized the same day. My sister Ashley and her family drove in from Colorado. Kristal and Ashlyn also came, but I accidentally told them the wrong chapel, so they just came to our house after the baptism.

My mom embroidered this towel for Adam and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. 

We let Adam pick the menu and it consisted of the standard chicken salad sandwiches and lots of treats. My mom helped me frost the cookies. Mike decided to get fancy and smoke a whole turkey for dinner, and it turned out delicious.
