On Friday we drove up passed the Star Valley Wyoming temple, so we of course stopped to take pictures.
Saturday morning we drove into Yellowstone and went straight to the Old Faithful area. There is a boardwalk around the area so we walked around and saw all of the geysers and hot pots. My parents brought Emma, and found out dogs aren't allowed, so they didn't get to go on the walk. (We all suggested my dad carry her in a bag around the boardwalk, but my dad thought would be dishonest.) We mapped out our day and the plan was to stay on the West Side of the park. (We didn't realize it at the time, but the RV park we chose was quite a ways away. Gave us a lot of time to hang out.) After the Old Faithful area we went to the Geyser Basin and Paint Pots.
We heard about "Fire Hole Falls" and drove there after. Had we known there would be a great swimming area, we would have brought our swimsuits. Even so, the kids didn't mind.
I have great video of Steven cliff jumping. The kid has no fear. :)
