Random July Pics

 Audrey wanted to play bathroom beauty shop and have her hair dyed as a rainbow. It didn't come out as dark as she'd like, but it was still cute. 

While Mike was picking me up from the airport the boys decided to walk next door and have Tatiana pierce their ears, but only their right earlobe. People in my generation know that the right ear lobe has significance, but the younger generation apparently didn't. Good times! Adam decided to take his out and Steven decided to pay to have the other side done so it matched. 

Steven attended another year of BYU's lacrosse camp and then he and Roland attended FSY at the U of U. 

Sarah and her friends got their Barbie on. It's October and I still haven't seen it, but plan to. 

We took Audrey to the Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden. She loved it! We took our big kids years ago and they were underwhelmed. It's fun having a super dino fan. 

Camping at Pineview w/the Berrys

 Last year we started what we hope will be an annual tradition of camping with the Berrys. Audrey and Taylor love to hang out and Pineview reservoir is a lot of fun. The main attraction for my kids was renting a seadoo. We burned through A LOT of gas, but it was fun. We also lost Adam and Mike's glasses, so it was a fairly expensive camping trip. :) There was a bit of excitement when the boys accidentally thought Sarah and Shaylee's sister had been pulled over for not having a boating license, but it turns out they just went on an hour long ride and we were worried for nothing.

Ashley and I traveled to Pridis, Canada to attend Beck and Loisl's wedding ceremony. They've already been married for a few months, but this was their dream wedding, since it was Loisl's first marriage. To say it was a beautiful event would be an understatement. Loisl's family land is gorgeous! They brought in a dance floor and tents and turned a barn into the reception area.

Adam's 13th Birthday Bash

 When Steven turned 13 we used his birthday as an excuse to have a fun birthday getaway at an AirBnB my friend had recommended. When Adam turned 13 he decided he needed to go to the same place. He invited Roland and Zac and the boys spent the weekend swimming and gaming. Mike and I escaped and hiked the Y, which is something I hadn't done before. (Mike had done it as a date in college, as if he had a life before me) ;) 

On his actual birthday he got a personal cheesecake for breakfast and spent the day gaming, which is exactly what they wanted to do.
