Children's museum and bathroom beauty shop with the Millers

My sister Ashley brought her kids out for our trip to Capitol Reef so we decided to go to the children's museum before the trip. My parents came as well. Most of the kids wanted to do the high ropes course above the play area, so my dad accompanied Allyson.

I know I took more pictures than this, but I dyed my nieces hair rainbow colors in preparation for our trip. She loved it, hopefully her dad did as well. ;)

Adam decides to cut his own hair

I was giving the boys hair cuts and Steven talked Adam into buzzing his head. I didn't think he'd like it, so I said he could do it to his own hair, but I didn't want him to be made at me after. I took video of it and he had a lot of fun chopping it off.

Adam liked it until someone (me) made the comment that people might think he has cancer. He then got upset. He cheered up again when we all told him how much we love it and like to rub his fuzzy head.

Happy Easter!

Although I do love Halloween and Christmas, Easter has become my favorite holiday. I love what it represents. I love the promise it brings. After conference we visited Erik and spent some time there. Knowledge of the Saviors resurrection brings so much peace and hope. We all can't wait to see Erik again.

Steven decided to walk around and clean some of the nearby headstones.

Random March

Since Easter Sunday was also General Conference, the kids wore their Easter outfits from Lynette the week before. Yeah, they're cute. :)

We went on a hike with the kids in the hills behind our house.

Adam's class went on a field trip to the Clark Planetarium and I got to tag along again. I'm going to miss when I don't get to go to his field trips anymore.

Professor Adam

Adam's teacher had noticed him squinting at the white board so she had his eyes tested at school and he failed the test. They told us to have them checked professionally, and when we took him in we found out he is near sighted and has terrible eyes. Oops! I had no idea. We took him in and he picked out some cute Oakley's. They seemed to bother him at first, but now he's good about wearing them everywhere.

Isgett's!

The Isgett's came for spring break, so we got to spend a day skiing with them. My pregnant brain didn't get enough pictures, but it was great to see them.

Mike's day job

One a recent refueling mission one of the F-15 pilots they were refueling took these pictures. Mike was the one flying the tanker, so it was neat to see these. I showed them to my students and they were quite impressed. It makes me grateful he's able to get paid to do something he loves so much.
